Clothing zipper tips
Zipper, as one of the most important accessories and one of the most important design points in clothing, plays an important role in the whole style of clothing, and the processing method in technology is also particularly important. However, no matter what, understanding zippers is the first step.
1： There are three series of zippers: metal, plastic (resin) and nylon
2： Zippers are classified according to the shape of teeth:
1) Metal zipper: divided into ordinary teeth and Y-shaped teeth (KEE except 2 # and 7 # are Y-shaped teeth)
The single tooth tension and combined tooth tension of Y-type zipper are stronger than ordinary teeth, with superior performance
2) Plastic zipper: ordinary teeth, movable teeth, pointed teeth, fine teeth, tail teeth, square teeth
3) Nylon zipper: nylon teeth, invisible teeth
3： Zippers are classified by size:
1) Metal zipper models: 2 ＃, 3 ＃, 4 ＃, 5 ＃, 7 ＃, 8 ＃, 10 ＃
2) Plastic zipper: 3 ＃, 4 ＃, 5 ＃, 8 ＃, 10 ＃, 30 ＃
3) Nylon zipper:
A。 Nylon 3 #, 4 #, 5 #, 8 #, 10 #
B。 Invisible 3 ＃, 4 ＃, 5 ＃ (4 ＃ pull better, KEE only does 4 ＃)
4： Zipper material [h] 1) Tape:
Standard polyester tape: material is polyester
Cotton tape: made of cotton yarn
Fireproof tape: NOMEX flame retardant yarn
2) Teeth:
Metal zipper: 65 brass, white copper, 85 red copper, red copper
Plastic zipper: POM rubber particles (polyformaldehyde)
Nylon zipper: polyester monofilament
3) Slider:

4) Top stop/bottom stop
Metal zipper: 65 brass, 85 copper
Nylon zipper: copper wire, aluminum wire, ultrasonic top stop wire
Plastic zipper: POM particles (polyformaldehyde)
5) Square head bolt

5： Production process of zipper:
Ribbon ->dyeing ->tooth arrangement ->square head bolt/bottom stop ->core cutting (broken core) tape) ->sliding block ->punching
Stop ->Quality inspection ->Packaging and delivery
Slider:
(1) Classified by material: plastic steel/metal/fresh pulling head, etc
(2) By tab: ordinary (no tab/short tab/long tab)/customized tab
(3) Sliders are usually metal sliders. Due to different electroplating methods, they can be divided into electric white/sanding/electric black/baking fog black/black nickel/antique copper/dumb copper/electric white/hanging gold, etc. Please refer to the manufacturer's catalog. Pay attention to the color difference of each batch of goods for electroplating method
Note: The zipper head must be used together. Sometimes the zipper head of different manufacturers may not match.
